As you take your seat at the communal table for sixteen, you can already sense this is no ordinary dinner. We begin in the earliest days of restaurant dining, where it all started.
We trace the shift from horse-drawn carriages to steam engines, from candlelight to electric glow. The first automobiles appear, the radio is born, and we arrive at the moment humankind steps onto the Moon. This is the familiar past — an age of discovery, invention, and great industrial leaps.
But then, we leave gravity behind and set our course for the distant future — our destination: Mars. This is where true exploration begins. The certainty of the known past gives way, in an instant, to curiosity. You become part of a journey through time, where each course unfolds as a new chapter.
Meanwhile, the lights subtly shift into a new rhythm, and the sounds awaken new sensations. At times, you find yourself drawn into lively conversation; at others, you simply observe — the light, the flavours, the story. And before you know it, you realise you are not just at a dinner, but standing at the threshold of a possible future, where the true power of community lies in paying attention to one another.
